Cristy is a Law Clerk at Perry & Villarreal, LLP.  Cristy brings her passion for education and her desire to make a difference in children’s lives to the office every day.

Cristy’s passion for helping children became evident when she was a camp counselor each summer in high school and college.  Since attending law school at McGeorge School of Law, Cristy has worked for the Children’s Law Center, where she worked directly with Sacramento County’s foster youth and assisted their transitions in reunification and adulthood.  

Cristy graduated from Sacramento State University with a degree in Criminal Justice, during which she served on a philanthropic committee assisting U.C. Davis Children’s Hospital.  She is a student at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, where she is the president of the Negotiations Team and a student member of the Kennedy Inn of Court.  She will earn her Juris Doctor degree in May of 2024, and will sit for the July Bar Examination.   

When she’s not in the office, Cristy enjoys escaping the heat to the California Coast, exploring Sacramento’s diverse food scene, and playing with her dog, Grace.
