BIOGRAPHY
Cristy is an Associate at Perry & Villarreal, LLP. Her educational journey outside of the classroom began as a camp counselor each summer during high school and college. Through her work as a camp counselor, she recognized her passion for helping others and decided to pursue a career as an attorney.
Cristy has worked exclusively with public school clients in the areas of special education and student matters since graduating from law school. Cristy brings her passion for education and her desire to make a difference in children’s lives to the office every day. Her passion for education and her commitment to a student-centered legal approach are evident in her advocacy.
Cristy graduated from Sacramento State University with a degree in Criminal Justice, during which she served on a philanthropic committee assisting U.C. Davis Children’s Hospital. After graduating from Sacramento State, Cristy attended McGeorge School of Law. While completing law school, Cristy worked for the Children’s Law Center, assisting foster youth in reunification and transitions to adulthood. She was also the president of the Negotiations Team and a student member of the Kennedy Inn of Court. Since graduating from McGeorge School of Law, Cristy has served as the Adjunct Professor for the Negotiations Team.
When Cristy’s not in the office, she enjoys escaping the heat to the California Coast, exploring Sacramento’s diverse food scene, and playing with her dog, Grace.
